LCHS spring band concert and awards program

The concert and jazz bands from Lincoln Community High
School will give their final concert of the year on Tuesday, May 18,
at 7:47 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Yes, the time is correct,
7:47, just like the airplane. Awards for 2003-2004 will also be
presented during the concert. |
These are the same ensembles that received a first division
"Superior" rating at the IHSA state music contest just a couple of
weeks ago. ["LCHS music students sweep contest"]
Band director David Swaar says this will prove to be a
very enjoyable evening with a wide variety of music for all to
appreciate. "So, come on out and give them a listen," he says. "The
price is right: FREE!"
