[MAY 18, 2004]  It all started on May 24, 1984, and this weekend the Central Illinois' Music Collectors Convention is having its 20th anniversary record and CD shows in Springfield and Peoria.

  • Saturday, May 22
    Crowne Plaza Hotel
    3000 S. Dirksen Parkway
    Springfield
  • Sunday, May 23
    Packard Plaza
    (Mark Twain Hotel)
    225 SE Adams
    Downtown Peoria

Both shows run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sell, buy and trade all types of music: rock 'n' roll, blues, jazz, heavy metal, punk, reggae, soul, big bands, country, you name it. Records, CDs, DVDs, video, posters and pop culture memorabilia will be available. All ages are welcome.

Admission is $3, with children under 12 admitted free.
