Biscuits and gravy will be served from
8 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. at a cost of $2. Lunch will be served by Judy
& Friends.
The Genesis Ministries Project is a
ministry of reconciliation for women whose lives have been destroyed
or disrupted by alcohol, drugs or other life-controlling problems.
The project will provide a Christ-centered environment where women
are given the opportunity to choose a new beginning by being
reconciled first to God, then to their families and community.
Some of the proceeds from this auction
will be used to complete phase one of the renovation of the former nursing
home. Phase one will house six women and a
husband-wife team living on the property and working in counseling
and supervisory positions.
Some types of items to be auctioned are
household items, children's toys, furniture, exercise and sports
equipment, hospital beds, office furniture, microwave ovens,
animals, 1978 Ford Pickup, Onan 55KW industrial generator, linens,
and boxes and boxes of miscellaneous items.
