New executive director named for Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of Logan County     Send a link to a friend

[MAY 24, 2004]  Celeste Rogers, a 17-year resident of Logan County, starts Monday, May 24, as the executive director for the Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of Logan County. The board of directors wants to bring tourism efforts into "Phase 2," advancing the efforts made by Theresa Usherwood, 17-year past director for the tourism bureau.

Rogers was chosen for her background in marketing, computer and Web usage, and promotions. She is currently a co-owner and manager for CITV, Channel 5 and will use her background to enhance promotional efforts to entice more visitors to Logan County.

The tourism bureau wants to know interesting facts and trivia about features of Logan County. If your home, business or property has a unique feature or historical significance, please forward that information to the tourism bureau, by mail to 303 S.
