Handicap-labeled parking spaces have
been relocated at the east side of the power plant and positioned at
an angle to allow easier loading and unloading of patients and
guests who use vehicle lift products. The direction of traffic flow
in these newly designed spaces is south only, a change to better
protect pedestrians. In
addition, extra spaces have been designated for visitors, increasing
the previous 12 spaces to 24, to provide more direct-access spaces
for patients and guests who prefer not to cross Eighth Street when
visiting ALMH. Five new visitor spaces adjacent to the new
handicap-labeled spaces also support a south-only traffic flow.
Visitors to ALMH are asked to be
observant of these new parking areas and traffic flow changes.
