Ernie and Jean Oglesby

[OCT. 23, 2004]  Ernie and Jean Oglesby will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their family on Sunday, Nov. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Einstein's Coffee House.

Ernie Oglesby and Jean L. O'Neal were married Nov. 28, 1954, at the United Methodist Church in Williamsville. The Rev. C.E. Withrow officiated. Ernie's brother Bill Oglesby of Williamsville and Jean's sister Joan O'Neal Smith of Cantrall were the attendants.

The Oglesbys are the parents of Susan White of Lincoln, Sally Gosda (wife of Roger) of Lincoln and Stuart Oglesby (husband of Kerri) of Royersford, Pa. Grandchildren of the couple are Jenny White, Adam White, Christopher Gosda, Kelly Gosda and Katie Gosda.

Ernie was employed by Lincoln Water Corporation and Pete's True Value Hardware before he retired. Jean has been office assistant for Country Companies agents Joe Ryan and Charlie Williams.
