[NOV. 10, 2004]  GALESBURG -- Lincoln College rolled to an 80-48 victory over Carl Sandburg Tuesday night, raising its season record to 2-0. The Lynx will be in action again Friday when they take on Rend Lake.

Four Lincoln College players were in double figures, led by the 21 points from Nick Malone. Also in double figures were Jake Littrel and Brandon Alexander with 12 each and Michael Henderson with 11.

Lincoln College held a 32-16 lead at the half before exploding for 48 second-half points on 20-of-26 shooting from the floor. The Lynx finished the game shooting 58 percent. The Lynx also dominated the board by a 36-15 margin, with Littrel pulling down nine to lead the way.
