SPRINGFIELD -- Marvel M. Heinhorst, 86, of Mason City, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 2:10am at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield of natural causes.

Her Funeral will be at 11:00am on Monday at Hurley Funeral Home.  Visitation will take place 1 hour before the service.

Burial will be at the Mason City Cemetery.

Mrs. Heinhorst worked as a beautician in Mason City for several years.  She had also volunteered at the Mason City Nursing Home.  She was a member of the Mason City Womens' Club.

She was born on March 3, 1918 in Mason City to Fred W. and Nellie (Mangold) King.  She married Nelson Heinhorst on December 28, 1952 in Mason City, and he died February 19, 1992.

Survivors include a brother, Don King of Mason City, and a sister, Wanda Horst, also of Mason City.

She was also preceded in death by a sister and her parents.

She was a member of the Mason City United Methodist Church.

Memorials can be made to the Mason City United Methodist Church or the Mason City Area Nursing Home.
