LINCOLN -- Helen L. Million,
86, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at 6:03 a.m. at
her home.
A graveside service will be at
11 a.m. Friday in New Union Cemetery, with the Rev. Thomas
Taylor officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Peasley Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Million worked at the
Lincoln Garment Factory for 50 years.
She was born Sept. 18, 1918,
in Chicago to Theodore "Ted" and Lucille Starkl Young. She
married Paul Million on Dec. 27, 1941, in Hannibal, Mo. He
died April 25, 2001.
Mrs. Million is survived by
one sister, Irene Briggs of Santa Monica, Calif.
She was also preceded in death
by one sister, Ethel La Palam.
She was a member of Holy
Family Church in Lincoln.
She graduated from Lincoln
High School.

MOUNT PULASKI -- Nellie M. Sheehan, 90, of rural Mount
Pulaski, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at 3:15 p.m. at Decatur
Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her
funeral will follow at 7 p.m., with Bill Shanle officiating.
The service will celebrate Mrs. Sheehan's life and her going
home to the Lord.
Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lake Bank Cemetery,
Mount Pulaski.
Mrs. Sheehan was a homemaker, farmer and avid gardener on
the family farm for over 60 years. Before her marriage she had
been employed at the Mueller Company in Decatur.
She was born Aug. 26, 1914, in Decatur to Harry and
Margaret Blakeman Fishburn. She married Edward B. Sheehan in
Decatur on March 22, 1944. He died Dec. 17, 1973.
She is survived by one daughter, Angela (and David) Onuma
of Carlock; two sons, Dennis (and Linda) Sheehan of Gydnia,
Poland, and Gale (and Shelly) Sheehan of Santa Rosa Beach,
Fla.; six grandchildren, Jani (and Richie) Jones of Lincoln,
Daniel (and Karen) Sheehan of Mount Pulaski, Laura (and David)
Salander Jr. of Lincoln, Heather Sheehan of Santa Rosa Beach,
Fla., Micah Sheehan of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Katie Onuma
of Carlock; one great-grandchild, Emma Jones of Lincoln, and
two step-great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Austin Jones of
Beason.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and
Samuel Ervin Fishburn, and one sister, Dorothy Doty.
A memorial message: "To everything there is a season, and a
time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, a time
to die ... a time to remember and honor Nellie Sheehan, a
loving wife, Mom, Grandma, sister, aunt, friend and servant of
the Lord."
