NORMAL -- One of the most outspoken voices in
men's college basketball has recognized Illinois State's Trey Guidry
as one of the most outstanding 3-point shooters in the nation. ESPN
college basketball analyst Dick Vitale named Guidry to his "All
AT&T" team, singling out five players in the country who do the most
damage from long distance.

In the most recent issue of ESPN The Magazine, Vitale, known for his
passion for college basketball and keen ability to deliver
nicknames, named Guidry, Pat Carroll (Saint Joseph's), Travis Diener
(Marquette), Chris Hill (Michigan State) and J.J. Redick (Duke) as
his top 3-point threats in the country. In the first three games
of the season at the BCA Classic in Milwaukee, Guidry lived up to
his billing, averaging over 15 points per game in the Redbirds' two
wins and one loss. Beyond the arc, Guidry went 6-of-13 for the
tournament.
