[NOV. 22, 2004]  CANTON -- Four players scored in double figures to lead Lincoln College (6-0) to a 95-84 victory over Illinois Valley Community College in tournament action here Saturday afternoon. IVCC falls to 1-3 with the loss.

Lincoln College built a 13-point lead, 47-34, in the first half and held on for the victory as both teams shot the ball well in the second half. Lincoln College made 17 of 28 field goal attempts (61 percent) in the second half, while IVCC was making 17 of 31 (55 percent). LC finished the game shooting 52 percent and IVCC finished at 46 percent. Lincoln College had a 42-30 rebounding edge, with Michael Henderson pulling down 13 boards for the Lynx. Jason Moore had six assists to lead the Lynx, who showed 21 assists on 35 field goals.

Rodney Williams topped the Lynx scorers with 22 points, while Henderson added 20. Jake Littrel had 12 points, and Nick Malone completed the double-figure scorers with 10 points. Cordell Liggens had 22 points to top IVCC.
