Wesleyan won the women's title with 132 points, Millikin finished
second with 85.5, and Lincoln College was third with 77.50.
Following the top three were Augustana, Benedictine, Eureka,
Monmouth and Webster. Kyle Kearby set a new pool record as the
Lynx freshman swam the 100-yard fly in 52.56. Kearby also won the
100-yard back with a time of 54.53 and was named the most valuable
swimmer for the meet. In addition to the two 100-yard events, Kearby
was also a winner in the 200-yard free.
Other first-place winners for Lincoln College were Paul Davis in
the 3-meter diving, Eric Mattingly in the 50-yard free and the
100-yard free, and the 200-yard free relay team of Mattingly, James
Hnatuik, Brett Pencar and Kearby.
Amanda Hunt won the 1-meter diving title for the Lynx women and
also took first place in the 3-meter diving event. She was the lone
winner for the Lynx in the women's competition.
