New associate judge announced       Send a link to a friend

[NOV. 27, 2004]  The 11th Judicial Circuit judges voted to select David Wayne Butler as an associate judge of the circuit. The announcement was made Nov. 19 by Cynthia Y. Cobbs, director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts.

Mr. Butler received his undergraduate degree in 1976 and his master's in 1985, both from Illinois State University in Normal, and his juris doctor in 1980 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

He has been affiliated with the McLean County Public Defender's Office in Bloomington.
