[OCT. 5, 2004]  The Lincoln College women's soccer team suffered a 10-0 loss to Southwestern Illinois College here Saturday, dropping the Lynx to 1-11 for the season.

Lincoln College managed nine shots on goal while SWIC had a total of 21 shots.

"They are a very good team and should be ranked this week," Lincoln College coach Aaron Paskvan said. "I feel we should compete better with them than we did. We did have a couple of bright spots, as Diane Water had a strong game after recovering from an ear infection. We also had Chris Rivera return from a knee injury, and that should help us as she gets her game legs back."

Lincoln College returns to action Tuesday as they take on Robert Morris in Springfield.
