[OCT. 7, 2004]  The Abraham Lincoln Tourism Bureau of Logan County needs your help! The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum offers our county the opportunity to attract tourists who wish to learn more about Abraham Lincoln and his life before becoming president. We want to attract visitors to Logan County before they stop in Springfield.

Therefore, the tourism bureau is having a slogan contest. Create a slogan for promotional use that will intrigue the visitor to stop in Logan County and visit Abraham Lincoln sites and locations before reaching the capital city. Be creative and unique, but most of all, be original.

To enter the contest, provide your name, address, phone number and the slogan through e-mail to tourlogancounty@ccaonline.com or by postal mail or in person to 303 S. Kickapoo in Lincoln no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.

Creator of the winning slogan will receive a tourism polo shirt in the winner's choice of size, color and logo color! So get your thinking caps on and create the winning slogan that will bring more visitors to Logan County!
