Appointments open for Thanksgiving
food assistance applications

Applications for
Thanksgiving food assistance will be received only from Oct. 25 to
Nov. 5, by appointment, at the Salvation Army, 1501 N. Kickapoo in
Lincoln. Hours of application are 9:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

In order to better serve clients, the
office is asking that they call (217) 732-7890 beginning Oct. 11 in
order to set up an appointment.
Applicants must bring copies of photo
IDs for all adults in the household, plus Social Security cards for
all family members. Applicants will also need to show proofs of
income and expense.
Opportunity to register for the
Salvation Army Christmas Adopt-A-Family program will be offered at
the same time.
