John Deters Jr. and Marilyn Hunsley
were wed Oct. 24, 1954, at Zion Lutheran Church in New Holland. The
Rev. Charles Heimgartner officiated. Their attendants were Judy (Gard)
Weisman of Springfield and James Kunken of Greenview.
John and Marilyn are parents of John
(and Jerrie) Deters of Mason City and Donna Deters, Dave (and Sandy)
Deters and Rick (and Ardith) Deters, all of Middletown. There are 14
grandchildren, one granddaughter deceased and four
great-grandchildren.
John is retired from farming and
Marilyn was a cook at West Lincoln-Broadwell School.
