[OCT. 20, 2004]  Football fans are invited to stop at Zion Lutheran School, 1600 Woodlawn Road, for warm chili before heading out to the Lincoln Community High School football game Friday night.

The Zion eighth-grade class is hosting a chili and soup supper on Friday to raise money for the annual class trip. Chili, vegetable soup and hot dogs will be served from 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children under age 10.

"Meet the Eagles" festivities, including introduction of the basketball teams and cheerleaders, a performance by the student band, and a parent-child basketball game, will follow the chili supper.
