In observance of National Pharmacy Week, Oct. 24-30,
Helen Feinstein, Pharm. D., will offer two "brown bag" sessions with
the public. |

Join the pharmacist in Conference Room A in the basement of
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 6
p.m. or Friday, Oct. 29, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Bring
your current medications with you, and she will review them for
interactions and provide counseling, answering questions regarding
medication and vitamins. Anyone taking medications or having
questions about medications should plan to attend.
The theme of the 2004 National Pharmacy Week is "Know Your Medicine
-- Know Your Pharmacist." Health system pharmacists are
medication-use experts who:
- Ensure that patients receive the right dose of the right
medication.
- Counsel patients on the correct way to use their medications.
- Make sure that patients respond well to their medications.
