A Fibromyalgia Comfort Group is forming at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital. The first meeting of this new comfort
group is scheduled at noon on Nov. 10 in ALMH Conference Room C, in
the basement. |
Attendees may bring lunch or come a few minutes early and buy
lunch in the hospital cafeteria. Future group meetings are
tentatively scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at
noon. This first meeting will serve to identify members of the
community who are looking for a comfort group to help them cope with
their diagnosis and find solutions for aspects of their life they
may be having trouble with due to the fibromyalgia symptoms.
Attendees will be able to share ideas of information topics relevant
to them, as well as speakers they are interested in asking to attend
a future session.
Community member Tara Hennessy is leading the coordination of the
group.
Please call ALMH at (217) 732-2161, ext. 405, with questions.
