volleyball vs. Lincoln Christian JV

Lincoln College
ran its season record to 19-15 by downing the Lincoln Christian
College JV team at Lincoln College Wednesday night. The Lynx won by
scores of 30-18, 30-24, 30-20.

Rosie Miller had 13 set
assists and 16 points while Danielle Crum had three kills, six
blocks, 11 points and four aces to pace the Lady Lynx to victory.
Also aiding in the victory were Chonita Ziegler with five kills,
Victoria Tuttle with five kills, Amber Stewart with four kills and
three blocks, Mackenzie Clark with nine set assists and three
points, and Samantha McCoy with seven digs and three points.
"Tonight's win was a real team effort
as our blocking was very effective and our passers did an excellent
job all night," said Lincoln coach Mark Tippett. "We are playing our
best volleyball of the season as of late, and I am very pleased with
where we are. Hopefully we can keep playing well this weekend and
take that momentum in regional."

Lincoln College will be
at home Saturday against Millikin JV at 9 a.m. Millikin will then
play Danville at 11 a.m. and Lincoln will hook up with Danville at 1
p.m. This is the final home game of the season, and the sophomores
will be honored prior to the game.
The regional tournament will be played
Nov. 1 against Springfield College at 7 p.m. Due to the fact that
the Lincoln College gym is not regulation, the game will be played
on the Lincoln Christian College court.
