The Oasis, Logan
County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open
weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also
open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is
the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County
senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Light
lunch and bingo
St. Clara's Manor will sponsor a
light lunch at noon Thursday as well as bingo games starting at 1
p.m.
Longines
music presentation
For an hour beginning at 3 p.m.
Monday, Paul Ayars will share his Longines Symphonette record sets
for all to enjoy. He will play some music and include discussion
about the music, records and record clubs. Reservations are not
necessary.
Tuesday
lunch
The 11:30 a.m. lunch on Nov. 2 will
feature chili and crackers, cottage cheese with pears, dessert, and
a soft drink for only $3.75. The ticket purchase deadline is noon
Monday.

Hearing
Aid Center to do screening
The Hearing Aid Center will do free
hearing screenings by appointment between 10 a.m. and noon on Nov. 3
at the senior center. Call 732-6132 to make appointments.
Oasis
card winners
Dolly Mears and Bernie Haley were
the weekday winners for pinochle, and the weekend winners were
Esther Will and Larry Van Bibber.
