BLOOMINGTON --
John A. Logan won the team title at the Lincoln College Invitational
golf tournament here this past weekend with a total score of 584 to
outdistance Rend Lake, which finished at 600. Lincoln College
finished 12th in the 14-team field with a total score of 634.
Jake Littrel led the Lynx with rounds of 75-78 while other Lincoln
golfers finished as follows: Matt Riva, 78-81; Jason Fitzpatrick,
80-77; Gardner Fuller, 82-78; and Marty Logue, 85-83.
Justin Fetcho of John A. Logan was
medalist with a 69-71 in the two rounds.

DECATUR -- At the Parkland Invitational
on Friday, Lincoln College finished in 11th place with a 319 total.
John A. Logan won the meet with a 297 total. A total of 18 teams
were entered in the competition. Daniel Tomlin of John A. Logan was
medalist with a round of 72.
Jason
Fitzpatrick had the top score for the Lynx with a 76, followed by
Fuller with a 79, Zack Young with an 81, and Littrel and Riva with
83 each.
