"The first game was very close
throughout as it went back and forth," said Lincoln coach Mark
Tippett. "We had our chances but couldn't get the big points. We
dominated the second game to even the match, but then for some
reason we kind of lost our focus and our passing game disappeared.
Parkland's servers did an outstanding job after the second game. We
played well against a team that has been at the top of our
conference for the last four years, so it is encouraging to see that
we can contend. We just need to sharpen up our passing. It is
definitely something to build on."
