SPRINGFIELD -- Carbondale's
federal building was renamed to the Senator Paul Simon Federal
Building in a dedication this morning (Monday). Gov. Rod Blagojevich
and
 other
state and national leaders spoke at the official renaming ceremony.
The governor joined the Simon family in viewing a bronze plaque
highlighting Sen. Simon's 40 years in public office.
