"We are playing real well at this point
of the season, and it was great to see us score some goals," said LC
coach Ben Massena. "We have been winning, but we haven't been able
to put many goals on the board until Wednesday, as we were limited
to a single goal in three straight games. We didn't get a shutout
Wednesday, but our offense picked up and got us the win. It was a
very physical game and they (Danville) had two red cards; however,
we were able to keep our composure and play solid soccer from the
beginning."
Santos Omar Rodriguez scored the first
goal of the game off an assist from Adrian Contreras, and Contreras
scored the second goal with the assist coming from Rodriguez to give
the Lynx a 2-0 lead at the half.

Danville scored the first goal in the
second half to cut the lead; however, the Lynx rebounded with two
more goals to put the game away. Leandro Jones took a pass from
Augistine Barboza and put it in the net to increase the lead to 3-1,
and Barboza later scored on a penalty kick to increase the lead to
4-1. Danville scored late in the game on a deflected kick to
