[SEPT. 28, 2004]  NORMAL -- Illinois State head baseball coach Jim Brownlee and his staff are set to begin the first of their 2004-2005 instructional hitting clinics in less than three weeks, and there are limited spots remaining for session one.

The clinics will consist of four or six one-hour sessions, with each session including individual instruction, as well as hitting games. Statistics and standings will be recorded during the games so participants may chart their progress and improvement from week to week.

Session one will begin on Sunday, Oct. 17, and run every Sunday for six weeks until Nov. 21. The session is split into three age groups: ages 8-11, 2-3 p.m.; ages 12-14, 3-4 p.m.; ages 15-18, 4-5 p.m.

Session two will begin on Jan. 16 and run on Sundays until Feb. 13. There will be no clinic on Jan. 30. The session times for this clinic are as follows: ages 8-11, 5-6 p.m.; ages 12-14, 6-7 p.m.; ages 15-18, 7-8 p.m.
