LC women's weekend soccer     Send a link to a friend

[SEPT. 28, 2004]  Lincoln College played a pair of women's soccer games over the weekend, losing to Moraine Valley 3-1 on Saturday and to College of DuPage on Sunday, 11-0.

Sarah Musser scored the lone Lynx goal against Moraine Valley in the second half after the Lynx fell behind 3-0 in the first half. Musser played in goal the first half and had eight saves.

"This game was up and down the field, but we are still allowing ourselves to play from behind," said LC coach Aaron Paskvan. "On Sunday we played the number three ranked team in the nation. We played them without a goal for the first 25 minutes before they were able to score. After they scored, we let our heads down, and they scored four more goals before the half. In the second half we lost Sam Marcus and Stacy Parrillo, and with those two out, we missed their skill on the ball."
