A warm front will lift from central Illinois
into northern Illinois today. Scattered severe thunderstorms are
possible in the warm and humid air mass along and south of the
front. The greatest threat is this afternoon and evening between 2
and 6 p.m. The storms may produce damaging wind, torrential rain and
large hail.
