Sport Tours International All-Stars update   Send a link to a friend

[AUG. 19, 2005]  MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Sport Tours International All-Stars' three-game series in Sentjur, Slovenia, ended on a down note as the touring team dropped a tough 81-76 contest to KK Elektra on Wednesday. The STI All-Stars finished the series versus the Slovenian professional teams with a 1-2 mark.

David Teague of Purdue enjoyed his finest game of the trip, as he led all players with a game-high 21 points. Illinois' Chester Frazier continued his fine play with 13 points, while Rodrick Stewart of Kansas chipped in with 12 points. Evansville's Matt Webster scored eight points as he saw extended playing time for the first time on the trip following a luggage snafu.

The group enjoyed an off day on Thursday before three consecutive games Aug. 19-21. The STI All-Stars will face the Austrian national team at 6 p.m. Friday in Kapfenberg, Austria. The team will then face Denmark's national team on Saturday and the English national team on Sunday.
