This is Jackson's first year with the Lynx. He was an assistant
coach at Lincoln Christian College during the 2004-2005 season. This
past spring and summer he coached the Spiece Indy Heat, which
achieved the No. 1 ranking among Reebok AAU teams in the nation.
Jackson, a Peoria native, is a graduate of Western Illinois
University, where he was a two-year starter and all-conference
performer under coach Jack Marganthaler. Jackson was an
all-conference, all-region player at Illinois Central College under
coach Carroll Herman before going to Western Illinois. After WIU, he
played a summer in the NBA Southern California Pro-Summer League in
Los Angeles.

Lincoln College head basketball coach BJ McCullum says Jackson
brings a real passion for the game.
"Eric brings his experience as a player, which will be a real
asset to the Lynx," McCullum said. "He loves the game of basketball,
and his connections with past players and coaches will certainly be
a strong benefit for recruiting players to Lincoln College."
McCullum said that Jackson has coached and worked individually with
some of the top high school players in the country.
Jackson currently lives in Lincoln with his wife, Stacy, and his
daughters, Felicia and Amina.
