Preachers get first win for coach

Lincoln Christian College Preachers defeated
Principia College 72-67 to give Matt Clark his first win in
collegiate coaching. The Preachers, 1-8, overcame a 10-point
deficit, after trailing 51-41, to outscore the visitors by five
during the last nine minutes of the game.

LCC was led by Matt Searby and Howard Wickersham with 25 and 17.
Wickersham led in rebounding with 10. C. Watts, with 25 points and
11 rebounds, was the leader for Principia.
"The guys just played their hearts out," said a happy coach
Clark. "It's good to get this win after coming close several times
during the season."
The Preachers next play Webster University on Saturday.
