Zion Lutheran Church drive-through live Nativity this weekend          Send a link to a friend

[DEC. 14, 2005]  The 14th annual Zion Lutheran Church drive-through live Nativity will be presented this Friday and Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. The outdoor scene, portrayed by church members and live animals and set to favorite Christmas hymns, will be at Zion Lutheran School, 1600 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln, across from Wal-Mart.

No admission is charged, but nonperishable food items will be collected for the Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry.

"The first Nativity scene was certainly a 'live' nativity," noted Zion Pastor Mark Carnahan. "There were live parents, live animals, live shepherds, live angels, all gathered by the true, living God of heaven and earth. Then, he who is the life of the world entered the scene to give life to all who would believe in him."
