[JULY 9, 2005]  ELKHART -- Discover the treasures on your bookshelf or in your attic! As part of the Elkhart Sesquicentennial, the Elkhart Library will host an antique book appraisal on July 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to help raise money for the library's future building expansion and accessibility campaign.

John Paul of Prairie Archives will be on hand at the library for book appraisals. Call the library for an appointment at (217) 947-2313.

Enjoy the day at the Elkhart Sesquicentennial. Visit the pioneer village, classic car show, Vietnam Veterans Wall replica, petting zoo and much more. There is something for everyone, lots of food and free trolley rides.
