Mustang baseball championship      

[JULY 20, 2005]  On Tuesday evening the championship game of the Lincoln PONY Mustang program was played at the Rec Center field. In a back-and-forth, well-played game by both teams, State Farm outlasted Johnson Hardware 13-10 to earn the first-place medallions.

Mount Pulaski State Farm reached the finals after defeating Illini Central 1 and Illini Central 2. The Johnson Hardware team, also from Mount Pulaski, reached the finals by defeating Lincoln Pizza Hut and Ingram's Snow Plow.
