There is a chance for severe thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening. A large storm complex over central Iowa is
expected to move to central Illinois by late afternoon. Storms may
form after 4 p.m. and slowly diminish after sunset. The primary
threat appears to be damaging straight-line winds and large hail.
Rainfall is not expected to affect the current drought condition
in central Illinois.
