Flag Day to be celebrated Sunday          Send a link to a friend

[JUNE 10, 2005]  Lincoln Elks Lodge 914 will celebrate Flag Day at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Robert Miller Memorial Flagpole, located near the lodge swimming pool.

Elks lodges across the nation celebrate Flag Day every year. The flag is the symbol of the Elks, and patriotism, Americanism and good citizenship are at the heart of Elkdom. Instilling respect and admiration for the country and the flag is a key goal of the lodge.

Lincoln and Logan County residents are encouraged to join the ceremony at the Elks on Sunday and fly their flags on Flag Day: Tuesday, June 14.
