The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a community
celebration. The idea is to have fun while raising money to fight
cancer and provide services to cancer survivors and their families.
Teams of up to 12 people come together to honor cancer survivors and
remember those who have died from the disease. Team members walk
around a track throughout the night in the hope that cancer will one
day be eliminated. Prior to the relay, participants raise a minimum
of $100 per person in donations from friends, relatives and
employers to support the American Cancer Society.
This is the fourth year for the Minier event, and the fundraising
goal is $50,000.
If you'd like to bring a team or would like more information,
