Community to gather in honor of fallen

A community
memorial service honoring Staff Sgt. Daniel G. Gresham, 23, of
Lincoln is being planned for a week from Saturday. The gathering
will be at 10 a.m. March 12 at All Veterans Park on Union Street.

Officials from the city, including
Lincoln Mayor Beth Davis, along with AMVETS Post 71, the American
Legion and VFW will lead the ceremony. New Wine Fellowship Christian
School, where Gresham attended, will also participate.
Sgt. Gresham's parents, Robert Gresham
and Esther Choe Yu Chin Gresham, and other family members will be in
attendance.
The public is invited to attend.
