Logan County 2005 CROP Walk orientation

[MAY 2, 2005]  The organizational meeting for the 2005 CROP Walk will be on May 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Wilmert Lounge at St. John United Church of Christ. Representatives from churches, youth and civic organizations, schools, and any other people interested are welcome to help make a difference in the lives of the hungry of the world. The theme for the CROP Walk this year is "We walk because they walk."

In 2004, 44 walkers collected over $5,000, of which 25 percent was given to the local CIEDC.

Nancy Tegtmeier, regional director from Springfield, will conduct the orientation, when the date of the walk and details will be decided.
