Bomke attends briefing on Illinois Gaming Board

[MAY 2, 2005]  SPRINGFIELD -- State Sen. Larry Bomke, R-Springfield, addresses onlookers during a state Capitol briefing Friday. Bomke was among several Republican legislators who received testimony from representatives of the Illinois Gaming Board on the possibility of the board becoming an autonomous entity. Currently, the gaming board is controlled by the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Also in attendance, but not pictured, were state Sens. Dale Righter, R-Mattoon, and Steve Rauschenberger, R-Elgin.
