Illinois State
Police arrested a 53-year-old Clayton, Mo., man headed north on
Interstate 55 south of Springfield. Another driver called the
police, saying a motorist was threatening him with a gun after a
traffic altercation. Grant E. Youngman was stopped by police at
approximately 12:20 p.m. on Monday at Milepost 81. Police recovered
a loaded gun from his vehicle.
Youngman was charged with aggravated
assault, unlawful use of weapon.
