Governor's 43rd annual prayer breakfast    

[MAY 18, 2005]  SPRINGFIELD -- Gov. Rod Blagojevich was joined by members of the General Assembly, government officials, executives, educators, community leaders and other professionals from around the state at the 43rd annual Governor's Prayer Breakfast this morning (Wednesday).

Roger Powell Jr., a senior starting forward from the historic 2004-05 Fighting Illini basketball team and a licensed minister, was the featured speaker.

The breakfast was at the Crowne Plaza Ballroom.
