Zion students to participate in state track meet

[MAY 19, 2005]  Eight students from Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln have qualified to participate in the Lutheran Sports Association State Track Meet this weekend at Concordia University in River Forest.

Students participating are Hailey Cooper in discus; Dovie Estep, 100, 200, 4x100 and 4x200; Lauren May, 100, 110 hurdles, 4x100 and 4x200; Colleen Pech, 4x100, 4x200 and discus; Brittany Rogers, 4x100 and 4x200; Scott Carnahan, 800, 110 hurdles and high jump; Matthew Schierer, 110 hurdles; and Todd Schumacher, 100, 200 and long jump.
