LC student group collects Thanksgiving food items for Community Action families         

[NOV. 19, 2005]  The Lincoln College student group Union of Student Activists will be helping the families that receive help from Community Action of Lincoln by collecting food to supply five families with a Thanksgiving meal. The deadline to donate is Monday.

Faculty sponsor Ron Keller says it's a great way for the students to give back to the community. "This project is something that comes from the heart and is truly a way for students to help those in need,” he said. "USA student members believe by helping families less fortunate, it carries the message of thankfulness and humility in this age of plenty."

Those who would like to help by donating food are encouraged to call Ron Keller at 735-5050, ext. 295.
