[OCT. 12, 2005]  The Lincoln Community High School Fine Arts Department presents the comic play "You Can't Take It With You," the story of a peculiar family that tries to join a conservative family.

In this hilarious tale, the untraditional family may have more things figured out than meets the eye, and it is the traditional family that comes to this conclusion.

"We can all learn a lesson from the Sycamores: Take time for the things and people that make you happy. After all, none of us will be around forever… and you can't take it with you," said Chelsea Cheatham, the director.

The show opens in the LCHS auditorium on Thursday at 7 p.m., with another performance at 7 on Saturday evening. The closing performance will be at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Lead roles include Tony Curcuru as Grandpa, Rachel Kasa as Alice, and Dagen Gregory as Tony. Also, Lindsey Boerma stars as Penny, Kelly Lohrenz as Essie, David Mauhar as Paul, Lincoln Moore as Ed, Ruth Ohmart as Kolenkhov, Taylor Muck as Mr. De Pinna, Todd Schumacher as Mr. Kirby, Alison Kessinger as Mrs. Kirby, Jillian Dowell as Rheba, Ethan Plumier as Donald, Amy Schumacher as Olga, Greg Harmon as Mr. Henderson, Chrissy Schick as Gayle, John Dallas as J-man and Peter Barmes as Mac.
