Local Salvation Army announces Thanksgiving food basket assistance          Send a link to a friend

[OCT. 21, 2005]  The Salvation Army has announced that it will begin accepting applications Oct. 24 for Thanksgiving food baskets and Christmas assistance. The application period will continue through Nov. 4.

It is necessary for applicants to call ahead to set up an interview appointment to apply for this assistance. To do that, please call 732-7890 today.

All applications must then be made in person at the prearranged time at the new location, The Salvation Army Keest Center, 307 N. Kickapoo in Lincoln.

At the time of their appointment, applicants must provide the following:

  • Proof of income and expenses for all adults in the household.
  • Photo IDs for all adults in the household.
  • Social Security cards for everyone in the household.
