[OCT. 25, 2005]  Nov. 10 is the entry deadline for the 2005 Lincoln Christmas Parade. Anyone may pick up a form Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the lobby of Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce office, 1555 Fifth St. in Lincoln, or print the form off the chamber's website: www.lincolnillinois.com.

The parade is scheduled for Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. and is co-sponsored by the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce and the city of Lincoln.

The 2005 parade will pay tribute to the Christmas movies we all know and love -- the movies that make us laugh and cry, the movies that keep the holiday spirit alive, the movies that have become part of your family tradition. Whether it's "The Christmas Story," "The Miracle on 34th Street" or any other timeless classic, the organizers hope you'll help make this year's parade a memorable and magical event.
