Sandwich and bake sale to benefit the elderly

[OCT. 27, 2005]  Mark your calendars and plan to attend the Nov. 5 rib-eye sandwich and bake sale at Lincoln IGA, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

This second annual event is sponsored by AFSCME Council 31, Local 1277, of the American Federation of State and County Municipal Employees.

Proceeds from the event will assist low-income senior citizens with bath services. Additional funding is provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Donations may be sent to House Calls Program, Logan County Health Department, 109 Third St., Lincoln, IL 62656.
