Lincoln native, Parkland College volleyball player selected as NJCAA Player of the Week      

[SEPT. 8, 2005]  Brooklyn Robbins of Lincoln, a 5-foot-6 setter for Parkland College in Champaign, was selected as the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Player of the Week for Aug. 28-Sept. 3.

Robbins led the Cobras to a 6-1 record and the Owens Invitational title last week. She collected 157 assists, 12 kills, 10 blocks, 45 digs and 37 service aces over five matches and set a school record for aces with 29 in the tournament. In the semifinal and final matches she averaged 15.5 assists per game.
